Ladies,
Great first week of training last week! We (coaches) felt like we had a great turn out and it was followed by great effort and participation. Week one in the books and now its time to split up the masses. Splitting the groups will allow the coaches to work more one on one with each athlete and help us get to know what the athletes need. Yes, it takes us down from 2 hours to 1 hour each day. So, what does that mean?
1 hour training sessions are very specific and filled with lots and lots of coaching. Here are some expectations for the hour together:
- Be on time
- Stay focused
- Do your best
- Ask questions
- Hustle no matter what you are doing!
Ladies it is very important to make sure you all show up to these sessions because these are going to be great 1 on 1 opportunities to be seen and helped by coaches in preparation for tryouts.
Here are the designated groups,
5-6:30p, ALL RETURNING PLAYERS FROM 2019 SEASON
- If you played last year on any team you will be attending this session
- We will make adjustments based off of what coaches feel is best for your development on whether to leave you in this group or shift you to a different group
6-7:00p, ALL NEW ATHLETES THAT DID NOT PLAY IN 2019 SEASON
- If you did not play last year you will be attending this session
- Which included, all new freshman or any grade level who is interested in making a the team this year and did not play last year
- We will make adjustments based off of what coaches feel is best for your development on whether to leave you in this group or shift you to a different group
See you all this week!
